Slack Integration
Get real-time video notifications in your Slack workspace. Know instantly when someone views your video or interacts with a CTA.
Prerequisites
- A Slack workspace where you can install apps.
- A Zidi account on the Starter or Pro plan.
Connecting Slack
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Slack in Zidi.
- Click Connect to Slack.
- Select the Slack workspace and channel for notifications.
- Authorize the Zidi app.
- You'll be redirected back to Zidi with a success message.
Notification Types
| Event | Slack Message |

| Video viewed | Viewer name/email, video title, watch percentage |
| CTA clicked | CTA type, viewer info, video title |
| Campaign engagement | Recipient engagement summary |
| New comment | Comment text, commenter name, video title |
Channel Selection
Choose which Slack channel receives Zidi notifications. You can:
- Use an existing channel (e.g.,
#sales-alerts). - Create a dedicated channel (e.g.,
#zidi-notifications). - Change the channel at any time from the integration settings.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings > Integrations > Slack and click Disconnect. Notifications will stop immediately.
Troubleshooting
- Not receiving notifications? — Check that the Zidi app hasn't been removed from your Slack workspace.
- Wrong channel? — Update the channel in Zidi's Slack integration settings.
- Too many notifications? — Consider using a dedicated channel with muted notifications.
