Embed Zidi videos in your Substack posts and pages.

How to Embed

1. Open your video in Zidi and copy the video URL (e.g., https://app.zidi.ai/v/your-video-slug).
2. In the Substack editor, click the + button or type / to open the block menu.
3. Select Embed.
4. Paste the video URL.
5. The video will appear as an embedded player in your post.

Email vs. Web

• Web post — The embedded video plays directly in the browser.
• Email — Substack converts embeds to clickable links/thumbnails in email. Readers click through to view the video on your Substack page.

Tips

• Embed videos in both free and paid Substack posts.
• Password-protected videos will prompt viewers for the password.
• Add tracking pixels for analytics on embedded views.
• CTAs and engagement tracking work inside embedded videos.
• For best results, place embeds between text paragraphs rather than at the very top of a post.
