AI Cleanup

AI Cleanup cuts filler words or long silences out of a video. The result is saved as a new video, so your original stays as it was.

Run a cleanup

1. In the sidebar, click My Library, then open the video.
2. Find the AI Cleanup card.
3. Click Remove filler words or Remove silence.
4. Zidi shows “Filler word cleanup started — processing now.” or “Silence cleanup started — processing now.”
5. When it is done, you see “Filler cleanup done — new video in your library.” or “Silence cleanup done — new video in your library.”

Both buttons are disabled while a cleanup runs. The page waits up to 20 minutes for the result. If you leave the page, look for the new video in My Library later.

Only the video owner sees the AI Cleanup card. It is on the video page only. It is not in the editor or on the shared page.

What you get

Zidi adds a new video in the same folder as the original. On Free, it counts toward your video limit. The title shows what was done:

To remove both, open the new “(No Fillers)” video and click Remove silence there.

Which words are removed

Remove filler words removes these English fillers: um, uh, uhh, erm, ah, mm, hmm, hm, mhm, huh, kinda, sorta, “you know”, “I mean”, “sort of” and “kind of”. Fillers in other languages are not detected.

Remove silence cuts out stretches where nobody speaks.

Limits by plan

AI Cleanup does not use credits and does not count toward the daily AI limit. Each plan has its own limits:
